The ultimate 2020 Review of Samsung Galaxy XCover 4S
The Samsung Galaxy XCover 4S is an older model, having been launched at the end of 2019.
The overall quality of this smartphone is average; since it is very affordable, it can be a good choice just to save a little.
The Samsung Galaxy XCover 4S arrived on the market with Android 9 and has not received any updates yet. Although, for security and compatibility with apps and other devices, it is still fairly recent.
This is the new version of the Samsung Galaxy XCover 4 that we have previously tested. This version has a higher camera resolution, faster processor, and allows the use of two SIM cards.
The 5″ screen with a resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels looks better than that of other models and is also very quick to react to commands.
The Samsung Galaxy XCover 4S battery is standard: in our usage scenario, its 2800 mAh allow it to reach 23 hours, which is on average.
The 20.5 GB of actual available internal memory (32 GB declared) may not be enough to store our data, but we can use an SD memory card to expand the phone memory.
It suffered some minor damages in the drop test, but passed it well and can therefore be considered quite robust.
Like most models in this price range, this mobile phone is very powerful, so it can be used without problems even for tasks that require high performance, such as some video games.
Among the most interesting functions are: being dual SIM (two SIM, two numbers, can work at the same time) and being water resistant.
This model is compatible with 4G connection.
Samsung Galaxy XCover 4S has a 16 Mp rear camera, which allows you to get just enough quality photos.
This mobile phone has a 5 Mp front camera, which allows you to take poor quality photos, so you can’t get good selfies.
- The quality of the screen is excellent
- It is one of the most affordable models
- You can insert two SIMs at the same time
