  • To browse by a category: select a product category from the drop-down menu next to Search and click the search icon. Each store will offer its own customized options to search and browse, located in the top navigation bar.
  • To use the “Refine by option” in the left navigation menu to further refine the selection available in a category, based on specific criteria such as Featured Brands, Size, Color or a Price Range. What can I do if I can’t sign in to my Amazon.ae account?

If you’re having trouble signing in, here are some things to check:

  • Clear Your Browser’s Cache and Cookies
  • CAPS Lock and NUM Lock on Your Keyboard
    Passwords are case sensitive, so “PASSWORD” and “Password” are recognized as two different passwords.
  • Incorrect E-mail Address
    Your e-mail address must be in this format: username@domain.com (or .net, .org, .edu, etc.). If you have more than one e-mail address, be sure that you’re using the correct e-mail address and password combination for the account you are trying to access. What should I do if I had forgotten my password?

If you’ve forgotten your password, you can request a personalized “password reset” link.

To request a password reset:

  2. Follow the on-screen instructions.
    Note: You may be asked to copy the text from a picture in a text entry box (commonly known as a “CAPTCHA”). Make sure to enter the letters in all-caps.

Why can’t I add more units of a product to the cart?

On Amazon UAE you can purchase single items or multiple items in bulk.

In order to provide all customers with a great selection and great prices Amazon.ae reserves the right to limit the quantities of certain items. If an item has a quantity limit, you can see the limit by adding the item to your cart and proceeding to checkout.

Item availability statuses will help you identify how available the item is, while shopping on Amazon:

Only X left in stock. Order soon: only a few quantities are left on hand available for ordering. So order soon before it runs out of stock!

Temporarily Out of Stock: this item is currently not in stock but it is available for ordering. An e-mail will be sent to you with the expected delivery date as soon as that information is available from our suppliers.

Currently Unavailable: this item is currently not available for ordering, and it may not be in stock again.

Notice that Amazon UAE doesn’t offer additional discounts on large orders of a single item or on large orders of many individual items.

How can I pay for orders on Amazon.ae?

Currently Amazon.ae accepts payment with:

  • Debit Cards (Visa and MasterCard),
  • Credit Cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express),
  • installment, available only on some credit cards,
  • Amazon.ae Gift cards,
  • Cash on Delivery.

Note:

  • Payment may be split between one of the accepted credit or debit cards and an Amazon Gift Card Balance, but payment cannot be split among multiple cards.
  • Your credit/debit cards are charged immediately after an order is placed. A charge is always inclusive of the full order amount. There will only be one charge per order even when your order is split into multiple shipments.
  • When choosing Cash on Delivery payment method your mobile number needs to be verified on Amazon.

Why can’t I see the Cash on Delivery as available payment method?

Cash on Delivery is available as a payment method for fulfilled by Amazon, Amazon Global Store and some seller fulfilled items.

If you have Gift Card balance in your account, you will not see the Cash on Delivery as available payment method, deselect Gift Card balance on Payments page and select Cash on Delivery as a payment method to pay using cash.

Cash on Delivery eligibility criteria:

  • Cash on Delivery orders can be paid only using Cash.
  • Cash on Delivery cannot be used in conjunction with your Credit card / Debit card, Installments or with the Amazon.ae Gift Card account.
  • Cash on Delivery will not be available if your order value exceeds 5000 AED.
  • Cash on Delivery will be available for orders sold by Global Store only when the shipping method selected is Expedited Shipping. It is not available for orders shipped via priority shipping method.
  • Cash on Delivery will not be available for all Marketplace seller items. Self-ship sellers do not accept Cash on Delivery as payment method.
  • Cash on Delivery will not be available for Amazon Home Service orders.
  • Cash on Delivery will not be available at the time of check out due to frequent past order cancellations and delivery refusals.
  • Cash on Delivery will not be available to purchase extended warranty.
  • Cash on Delivery is not available for orders shipping to Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and Oman. You can pay using your credit/debit card or Amazon.ae Gift Card balance at the time of checkout.
  • Cash on Delivery will not be available for Amazon Hub Locker or Counter orders.

How can I verify my mobile number to use Cash on Delivery payment method?

When choosing Cash on Delivery payment method your mobile number needs to be verified on Amazon.
After choosing Cash on Delivery as your delivery method, you will be prompted to enter a One-Time Password that will be sent to the mobile number registered on your account. Once done, click Continue to proceed with your order.

Note:

  • If you verify a mobile number that is already registered on a different account, that other account will be disabled.
  • You can change the mobile number linked to an account changing your Account settings.

How can I add and manage my payment methods on Amazon.ae?

You can add or update your payment methods by visiting the Payment section in Your Account.

To add or update a payment method in Your Account :

  1. Go to Your Account
  2. Click on the Payment options section. You will be asked to login to your Amazon.ae account. After you login to your Amazon.ae account, do one of the following:
    • To add a payment method, click Add a card.
    • To edit/delete a payment method, select the saved card from ‘Your credit and debit cards’ section and then click Edit or Delete button as per your requirement.
  3. Follow the on-screen instructions.

To add a payment method while placing an order:

  1. Add items to your cart and proceed to checkout.
  2. On the Select a payment method page you can add your credit card or debit card details by choosing Add a Card in the Add Payment Method section.
  3. Continue placing your order.

These details will be saved and surfaced as a saved credit/debit card when you place your next Amazon.ae order.

How can I add a Bank Account for refunds on Amazon.ae?

To receive refunds for Cash on Delivery orders that have been returned, you will need to add a bank account to your Amazon account.

To add a bank account to your Amazon.ae account you need to do the following:

  1. Go to Your Account
  2. Under ‘More ways to pay’ section, click on Bank accounts for refunds. You will be asked to login to your Amazon.ae account.
  3. After you login to your Amazon.ae account, on the Manage Your Bank Accounts For Refund page that opens, select the radio button ‘Add a Bank Account’, add your Bank’s Account Name, Branch Name and IBAN.
  4. Once you have entered your correct bank account details, click on Save and Add Bank to save your bank account.

Note:

  • When adding a bank account for refunds, the name on the bank account should be the same as the name on your Amazon account. This is because a refund can only be requested to a bank account in your name. Refund credits to third party bank accounts are not permitted.
  • To delete a bank account, go to Your Account and visit the Manage Your Bank Accounts For Refunds page. Click on Delete This Account button to delete information associated with a previously added bank account.

How can I use Installment payment method on Amazon.ae?

Installments is one of the payment methods available on Amazon.ae. It allows you to pay for your orders in easy monthly installments, provided you have a card from any of the following banks or payment partners mentioned below. The Installment payment method is available on the following cards:

  • All major credit cards that are issued by any of the following banks. ADCB, FAB, RAKBANK, Commercial Bank of Dubai, Dubai First, Mawarid Finance, Emirates NBD, Mashreq, Standard Charetered, Samba, Emirates Islamic, Al Hilal Bank and Dubai Islamic Bank.)
  • If your order is eligible for purchase on Installments, you will see the Installment option with a table of Installment providers with their corresponding rates and tenures offered. Installment purchases using a credit card varies between card issuers.

The following eligibility conditions are applicable for Installment as a payment option.

  • Installment cannot be used in combination with an Amazon Gift Card balance account. You will need to deselect your Amazon Gift Card balance account during checkout and pay in full with Installments only.
  • Installment purchases using a credit card varies between card issuers.

Your card issuing bank has the discretion to either approve or reject an order placed using the Installment payment option on the basis of your eligibility for a loan. You can approach your bank to understand why the Installment was not approved.

If your bank rejects your request, the order will not be converted into an Installment payment plan and you will charged to your Credit Card.

Steps:

  • As soon as you complete your order on Amazon.ae, you will see the full amount charged on your credit card.
  • After 3 days, your bank will convert this into an Installment.
  • limit will be reduced by the outstanding amount. For example, if you have made a 3-month EMI purchase of AED 2,500 and your credit limit is AED 6,000 then your bank will block your credit limit by AED 2,500 and thus your available credit limit after the purchase will only be AED 3,500. As and when you pay your Installment every month, your credit limit will be released accordingly.

If you cancel or return an order purchased using Installment after 3 business days, Amazon will refund the entire purchase amount to you within 3 to 5 business days, and the Installment will be cancelled.

Should the Installment plan be cancelled within 3 business days, you will be charged the Installment processing fee. You will then need to contact your bank to confirm how the Installment plan on your credit card has been modified, or for any queries on foreclosure.

Why my payment failed?

Payments on Amazon.ae could fail due to the following reasons:

  • You accidentally entered incorrect credit/debit card details like name on the card, card number, CVV, and expiry date.
  • The card details you provided are no longer valid or need to be updated.
  • Your bank is going through an outage.
  • You accidentally closed/refreshed the page or pressed backspace while the transaction was being processed by your bank.
  • The connection between Amazon and your Bank failed due to some technical issues and the transaction could not be completed.
  • Your card may be blocked for online transactions.

In any of the above cases, you will have the option to Revise Payment in Your Account. In any of these cases, Amazon.ae will send you an email to notify you of the payment failure.

Note: If your payment is still processing, you will see a “We haven’t received payment confirmation from your bank or credit card yet”. In such cases, do not attempt paying a second time unless you’re sure that your payment failed.

Why should I enable Two-Step Verification?

Two-Step Verification adds an additional layer of security to your account. Instead of simply entering your password, Two-Step Verification requires you to enter a unique security code in addition to your password during sign-in

After you enter your sign-in information, you may be prompted to enter a security code. You can receive this security code in a variety of ways depending on the option you select during sign-up, including text message, voice call, or authenticator app.

We use cookies to remember your preferences, so you will not be asked to enter a security code upon each sign-in. If you clear your cookies or use a different browser or device, you may be asked again for verification. For more information, see Signing in with Two-Step Verification.

Does Amazon UAE ship to India? Pakistan? Oman? Bahrain? Qatar?

When you shop at Amazon.ae, the product detail page messaging will let you know whether an item can be delivered to your location.

The Amazon UAE Global Export Countries are:
Bahrain Kuwait
Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (K.S.A) Oman

Amazon UAE doesn’t ship to India, Pakistan, Oman, Bahrain, Qatar and other countries which are not Global Export Countries.

There are also limitations, which prevent Amazon UAE from shipping certain products to some geographical locations in the U.A.E. The locations include limited access areas such as the western region of Abu Dhabi.

These restrictions can be related to local laws and statutes around hazardous material, large and oddly shaped items or Amazon policy.

There are special eligibility considerations when shipping items to domestic locations. Not all items may be shipped to these locations for the same reasons identified previously.

Additionally, Amazon UAE is unable to deliver large or heavy items, such as those that are 30kg or heavier, or those that have large boxes (typically larger than 110cm x 85cm x 85cm) e.g. some widescreen televisions, furniture or some fitness equipment, or high value jewelry and watches to addresses outside UAE.

How much does “Same-Day Delivery” cost?

Same-Day Delivery is available for customers shipping to select Metro areas and products sold and Fulfilled by Amazon.

How can I determine shipping rates on Amazon.ae?

The total shipping & handling cost will be listed under Order Summary.
Shipping rates depend on the selected shipping speed and weight/size of the items. It also depends on how many sellers you are ordering from.
If you are ordering from multiple sellers, you may be charged multiple shipping fees. For example, you are ordering one item that is fulfilled by Amazon and two items fulfilled by a Marketplace seller. You will be charged separate shipping fees as these items will be coming from two different locations and sellers. You will be able to identify the sellers during checkout.

How do I get free shipping on Amazon.ae?

Orders that include 100 AED or more of eligible items that are Fulfilled by Amazon, qualify for FREE Shipping. With FREE Shipping, your order will be delivered 1-2 business days after all of your items are available to be shipped.
Items sold and fulfilled directly by Marketplace Sellers do not contribute to your free shipping order minimum.

How do Amazon UAE Pickup Points work?

You can pick up your shipments at your convenience from the Pickup location selected. This option allows you to choose a Pickup Point location as a shipping destination near you for your Amazon orders.
Instead of having a package delivered to your home or business address, during checkout, you’ll see the option to Search for a Pickup Location for eligible orders. Once your package is delivered to the Pickup Location, you’ll receive an email notification with your pickup instructions so you can pick up your shipment at a time that’s convenient for you.

How do Amazon UAE Hub Locker work?

Amazon Hub Locker provides you with a self-service delivery location to pick up and return your Amazon.ae packages. Lockers are currently available in a variety of locations throughout the UAE.
Instead of delivering a package to your home or business address, you can select an Amazon Hub Locker location and pick up your package at a time that’s convenient for you (during the selected locker location’s opening times). Once your package is delivered to the locker location, you’ll receive an email notification with a unique pickup code and associated barcode that includes the address and opening times for your selected locker location.
When you arrive to collect your package, enter your pickup code or scan the barcode using the barcode scanner and follow the instructions on the screen.
All packages delivered to Amazon Hub Locker must be picked up within three days of delivery to the locker location. If you’re not able to collect your package within this timeframe, the package will be returned to Amazon for a refund.
Currently, Lockers can accept packages up to 42cm x 35cm x 32cm in dimension, with a maximum weight of 4.5kg. If the combined size, weight or dimensions of your package exceeds the size restrictions, you’ll need to remove items or select a different delivery address.

How can I add a Custom Image or Video to Amazon UAE Gift Cards?

If you’re sending an email Amazon Gift Card, you can add a custom image or video that you’ve uploaded from your computer to the gift card design.
To add a custom image/video:

  1. Go to Amazon.ae Gift Cards.
  2. Select the eGift Card and click on it.
  3. Under the design options specified, click Your photo/video.
  4. Click Browse to choose an image or video from your computer.
  5. Select the image or video from your computer you want to upload.
  6. Click on Change image/Select different video to select another file.
  7. When you’re happy with the design, check the check box to acknowledge that your image meets the Content Guidelines and that you’ve read and accepted the Terms and Conditions.
  8. Click Use this image/video.
  9. Fill in the remaining gift card details.

Note:
Images can be in the format of .jpg, .png, and .gif. They should be no larger than 7 MB, but ideally less than 1MB in size. The image height and width should be between 60 and 2500 pixels.
Videos can be in the format of Mp4, ogg, webm, or mov files. They can be up to 250MB and up to 30 seconds long, whichever comes first. Higher quality videos will reach the size limit before reaching the 30 second limit.

You can create a List and add items to your list to keep track of the items you would like to buy in the near future. You can name your list, i.e. “For my daughter’s 7th birthday”, add a brief personal description and birthday reminder. You can keep it private or make it public to share with your friends and family.
To create a List:

  1. Hover over Account at the top of any Amazon.ae page and select Create a list from the drop-down.
    Note: If you’re creating multiple Lists, go to an existing List and click Create a List after going to Your Lists.
  2. Click Create a list.
  3. Select Manage List from the list menu (…) at the top of your list to update your default shipping address, birthday, personal description and preferences.
    Note:

    • You can write a brief description to what or for whom the list is for.
    • As per your preference, you can indicate the Recipient, add a Shipping Address.
    • You can set the list to private, public or shared.
    • Amazon will only use the birthday date for birthday reminders chosen by the customer and to generate information on the site.
    • The delivery address for an order cannot be changed after an order is placed.
    • You can update this information again anytime.
  4. Click Save and browse for an item.
  5. Click Add to List under the Buy box on the right-hand side of any item’s product detail page.
    Note:

    • Only list owners can make changes through Manage List. Both list owners and collaborators will be able to add and remove items.
    • You can add items for sale by Amazon.ae to your list, except out-of-print books, out-of-stock products, cell phones with service plans, items that don’t have release dates, and items with quantity restrictions.
    • You can add items available from sellers to your list. Potential purchasers will see. See Buying Options instead of Add to Cart next to the item, since the same copy of the item may not be available later.

You can repeat this process to create multiple lists; there’s no limit.

How can I delete a list?

You can delete your List in a few simple steps.
To delete your List:

  1. Go to Your Lists and select the list you want to delete.
  2. On the list menu (…), click Manage Lists.
  3. Click Delete
  4. Click Save Changes in the Manage Lists window to confirm

How can I share my amazon list?

You can set up your list so that it’s viewable to yourself, people with a direct link, or to anyone. This is a great way to tell people what to buy and avoid any duplicate purchases.
To set or change your privacy settings:

  1. Go to Your Lists
  2. Select Manage List from the list menu (…) at the top of your list.
  3. Select your preferred privacy setting under Privacy in the Manage List window.
    Public: Anyone can search for and see this list.Shared: Only people with a link (URL) of your list can see this list.Private: Only you can see this list.
  4. Click Save Changes in the Manage List window to confirm.

You can also click Share at the top of your list to notify people via email. The e-mail addresses you provide will only be used to send this message.

How can I return an item?

Amazon and most sellers on Amazon offer returns for items within 15 days of receipt of shipment.
When you return an item, you may see different return options depending on the seller, item or reason for return.
To return an item you ordered:

  1. Go to Your Orders to display your recent orders.
  2. Choose the order and select Return or Replace Items.
  3. Select the item you want to return, and select an option from the Reason for return menu.
  4. Choose how to process your return. If applicable, select to issue a refund or replacement. For items sold from an Amazon seller, you’ll see Submit return request. The Amazon seller reviews return requests before issuing a refund or replacement. If you don’t receive a response within two business days, you can submit an A-to-z Guarantee claim. For more information, see About A-to-z Guarantee.
  5. Select your preferred return method.
  6. Print your return label and return authorization.
    Tip: Each return label is assigned to a specific return. To make sure that you receive the correct refund, don’t include items from multiple orders or shipments in the same box.
  7. Add your return label (if applicable) and package your items for return. Pack your item securely, following the instructions sent to you when you requested your return.
    You can view the status of a return or a refund in Your Orders by selecting View Return/Refund Status next to the relevant order.

Note: Before returning items on which you’ve saved personal information, such as laptops, cameras, or other electronic devices, remember to include all the accessories that came with the item, remove all passwords or security locks from the device and erase the information stored on the device.

Where’s My Refund?

You can check the payment method that was refunded and the status of your refund in Your Orders.
Note: After the courier has received your item, it can take up to one week for us to receive and process your return. It may take up to two weeks for Marketplace Seller orders. After the return is processed it may take 5 to 7 business days for the refund to show on your payment card statement.
If your refund status is not showing as refunded in Your Account, and the processing time for your payment method has passed, you can contact us for further assistance.
If your refund status shows as refunded in Your Account, and the standard time-frame as mentioned above has passed and you have still not received the refund, please contact your bank for more information.

Is it possible a refund without return?

Amazon may determine that a refund can be issued without requiring a return. If you are not required to send your item back for a refund, you will be notified in the Online Returns Center or by a Customer Service Associate.

How does Amazon Global Store work?

Amazon Global Store provides customers access to international brands and imported products on Amazon. The selection currently contains items shipping from the United States.
Products sold through Amazon Global Store are made available for purchase to you. You can pay for these products in Arab Emirates Dirham (AED) using payment methods such as credit cards and Cash on Delivery (COD). When you search for a product of your choice using the search bar, the search results displayed will contain imported Amazon Global Store products along with other similar products offered by local sellers. To refine your search to display only Global Store products, select Amazon Global Store US in the left navigation pane on web or under Filter on mobile.
The prices displayed for Amazon Global Store products include the import fees and taxes deposit (IFD) for importing the product into the UAE. The applicable IFD and shipping charges will be displayed during the checkout process so you can review the same before placing your order.
The prices for all Amazon Global Store products on Amazon.ae are amounts converted from USD to AED on a daily basis.

To contact a Marketplace Seller, after placing an order:

What are Amazon Refurbished products?

Products listed on Amazon Refurbished have been inspected, tested and refurbished to look and work in a ‘Like New’ condition by an Amazon-approved supplier. The suppliers must meet strict criteria to be able to provide Amazon Refurbished products.
The refurbishment process typically includes a full diagnostic test, replacement of any defective parts, a thorough cleaning and inspection process, and repackaging. The products have no visible cosmetic imperfections when held 30 centimeters away. The products may be packaged in a generic box and come with accessories that may be generic.
Note: Wireless devices may not come with headphones (unless otherwise stated on the product detail page) and have batteries tested to have at least 80% capacity at the time of sale.

Do Amazon Refurbished products come with a warranty?

Amazon Refurbished products come with a six-month warranty. This warranty does not affect your rights under the UAE Consumer Law including any rights or remedies you may have in respect of faulty items. Amazon will provide a repair within six months of your receipt if the product does not work as expected, and in case the product cannot be repaired then you will be able to request a refund for it. This warranty is in conjunction with Amazon’s Return Policy that applies to products sold by Amazon.ae.

How can I recharge a Prepaid Mobile Number on Amazon UAE?

You can recharge a prepaid mobile number through the Amazon.ae website and the mobile app.
You can search using keyword mobile recharge in the ‘Search bar’ or click on the Mobile Recharges link on the ‘Shop by category’ in the hamburger menu to go to the Mobile Recharge page. You can also visit the Mobile Recharge page by clicking here.
You can follow the below steps to recharge your prepaid mobile:

  1. Enter the Mobile number or select from the contacts list (if you are using the mobile app). The mobile operator will appear automatically.
  2. Select the Recharge amount or enter the Recharge amount manually and Click on Pay. You can pay for the order using Credit/Debit card or Amazon Gift Card balance.
  3. Once the payment is made, the recharge will be processed immediately and you will see the Thank you page. At the time of recharge you may also see promotional offers that are applicable on the recharge transaction.
  4. You will receive a SMS notification from the mobile operator after successful recharge.

To close your Amazon UAE account, contact them to request that your account be closed.
After your account is closed, it is no longer accessible by you or anyone else.
If you ever wanted to order from Amazon UAE again, or if you’d like to use website features that require a password, you would need to start a new account.
Once your account is closed, it’s no longer accessible by you or anyone else. Keep in mind:
